Our qualifications

The team at Bespoke Energy is small but highly skilled, with more than 60 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience at a senior level across multiple power industry sectors in Australia and internationally. This includes careers at independent system operators (AEMO), network services providers, consultancies, original equipment manufacturers, and research organisations. We have led several national and international working groups and task forces including those of the CIGRE, IEEE and various Australian bodies.

We have created original, innovative and practical solutions for complex technical, regulatory, risk assessment, and industrial R&D assignments in a wide range of disciplines. This includes power system planning and operations, model development, training and workforce development, advisory, and importantly, grid connections for a wide range of power system assets and technology types ranging from a few MW to several GW.

From our multi-sector experience we bring diverse perspectives from all sides of the industry. This is further enhanced by a thorough understanding of transmission and distribution networks, and associated challenges and opportunities in all mainland regions of Australia’s NEM. We have enabled the successful resolution of stalemate situations in many major projects including the provision of independent engineering services.
